Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury: Fight Preview
This article was originally featured on the One Speed Media website:
The fight everybody's talking about.
Whatever your opinion is of Jake Paul, and all of the 'YouTube boxing', it has undoubtedly brought alot of attention and publicity to the sport. The next big date in the calendar is December the 18th as Jake Paul takes on the younger younger brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury.
Who Is The Favourite?
Fury is the bookies' favourite with odds currently priced at 4/7 as opposed to Jake Paul's 13/8. It's clear to see why the bookies are odds on for the victory to be by way of KO/TKO as Tommy has 4 ruthless knockout victories already on his record, albeit against untested opposition.

It certainly looks to be the hardest test of both of their professional careers so far as neither have fought any tough opposition. Jake Paul is yet to fight an actual boxer, having only come up against fellow youtubers, a basketball player and 2 MMA fighters -both wrestling and submission based. Fury on the other hand, has only fought journeymen with his 7 opponents having a combined record of 16(w)-215(l).
This being said, it adds a level of excitement and a degree of uncertainty as nobody really has any idea of what the outcome may be or even how the fight will pan out. This is clearly what makes celebrity boxing so appealing to the wider audience and why it's popularity has skyrocketed over the past few years.

What Do I Really Think?
What you're here for. My prediction.
I would put my money on a Tommy Fury victory however not by way of KO/TKO as the bookies predict. I can see the fight going the distance, however both fighters not landing the big punches they'll both undoubtedly be looking for. Tommy Fury, points victory.
