Terence Crawford Takes One Of Boxing's Biggest Names to Court
Today, news broke that Terence Crawford has reportedly filed a lawsuit against hall-of fame-promoter - Bob Arum.
Bob Arum is the owner of Top Rank Promotions, who Terence Crawford used to be a part of. The lawsuit is on the grounds of 'racial bias', Arum allegedly preventing the fighter from making millions of dollars and securing big fights.

Crawford could be suing Bob Arum up to $10 million.
The current unbeaten WBO Welterweight Champion of the world, filed the lawsuit in Nevada on Wednesday.
Bob Arum has replied to the allegations made against him calling it a surprise, and that Top Rank lost money on Crawford's pay-per-view events due to low PPV numbers. He also made a point about the large purse Crawford took after each of his fights.

As a fight fan, I hope that the allegations made do not affect the chances of Terence Crawford obtaining a good promoter in the future. The lawsuit could potentially put off potential promotion companies going forward, as to see Crawford turn on someone that was once fighting his corner, could be seen as wrongfully untrustworthy.
If the allegations are correct, racial bias and discrimination is disgusting and needs to be eradicated from not just boxing, but the world of sport. I have full confidence the court will determine the correct outcome, and justice will be served.
